Scratching post and hammock ideally complement each other: Your cat climbs up the scratching post and makes itself comfortable in the hammock to observe its surroundings or simply to cuddle. The scratching post ensures natural claw care, climbing fun, and stress reduction. The hammock offers a safe observation post at height – extra-large so that even large cats like Maine Coons feel comfortable or multiple cats can cuddle together.

Flexible to mount & versatile to combine
Thanks to wall mounting, the set is particularly space-saving and ideal for small rooms or previously unused corners. The scratching post KS150 can not only be mounted vertically but also diagonally – making it a catwalk or a bridge within your climbing wall. With just these two elements, you can create an exciting climbing route and make new areas accessible to your cat. Later, the set can be expanded at any time with additional STYA wall furniture such as wall steps to form a larger climbing wall.

Well-thought-out design down to the last detail
Both pieces of furniture are available in black or white and discreetly blend into any modern home – not recognizable as classic cat furniture. The lying surface of the hammock is made of metal, not felt – it cannot stretch, remains dimensionally stable, and always looks beautiful. The cozy faux fur cushion covers all screws, so no mounting structure is visible. No screws are visible on the scratching post either – for a particularly clean appearance. The ergonomic shape of the pole allows cats to grip it sideways – like a tree branch in nature. Even large cats like Maine Coons can easily grip the pole.

Why felt?
Our many years of experience with numerous cats show: Cats love felt! It's especially good for gripping and sharpening claws while climbing. Playing, romping, and climbing are even more fun – and at the same time, the claws are protected, no snagging. Our specially developed felt is custom-made for use as a scratching surface and stretched tightly around the metal element. Thermal compression provides the necessary hardness and ensures a secure hold – making the felt particularly robust and durable.

High-quality craftsmanship & quality
At STYA, quality is paramount – in every detail. From the stable 2 mm steel with high-quality powder coating and fine sand surface, to the specially manufactured felt and the cozy faux fur cushion, to the Fischer brand dowels and stainless steel screws with Torx drive: every component is consciously chosen to create a durable and safe product. The faux fur cushion is securely fixed with 3M adhesive dots and can be removed without leaving any residue. For animal welfare, we consciously refrain from using real fur. The result is the perfect symbiosis of full functionality and aesthetic design – without compromise.

Durable instead of disposable
As with all STYA products, wear parts are replaceable: If one side of the felt on the scratching post is worn, simply turn it over and use the second side – this doubles its lifespan. Only when both sides are worn out do you insert a new felt scratching surface – without dismantling the piece of furniture from the wall. You can also easily replace the hammock cushion if necessary. All materials are of such high quality that everything can be reassembled again and again – even after every move, the set can be removed without problems and reassembled in a new place. Not a disposable product, but a full-fledged piece of furniture that lasts a cat's lifetime.
