The modern scratching post MS510 combines a scratching post and a large lounging area in one compact piece of furniture – a cat tree with a clear design that fits even into small corners. The scratching post offers your cat a species-appropriate scratching option for natural claw care and stress reduction, an elevated spot for observation, and a cozy lounging area for sleeping.

Compact for small corners – alone or as an addition
Not every room has space for a large cat tree. This scratching post requires little floor space and fills exactly those corners that were previously rather unused. You can use it as a standalone cat furniture or specifically as an addition to an existing STYA climbing wall and a large scratching post. This way, your cat has an additional lounging and play area, and individual elements create a well-thought-out cat landscape.

Plenty of space for small and large cats
The generous lounging area offers small and large cats enough space to stretch out. Even several cats can relax here, snuggled up together.
The special feature: you choose the pad yourself. In summer, the felt pad, in the cold season, the warming fur cushion – or simply as your cat likes it best. The washable cushion made of cuddly faux fur and the cushioning felt pad stay firmly in place thanks to 3M adhesive dots and can be removed without leaving any residue. We deliberately refrain from using real fur in the cushions for animal welfare reasons.

Play and security at the same time
An opening is incorporated into the lounging area: for looking through, climbing through, and for playing with a movable toy or another cat – a feature that immediately sparks cats' curiosity and makes the MS510 scratching post particularly exciting.
The surrounding edge of the lounging area serves as a backrest. Your cat can lean back comfortably, feels protected at the same time and finds security – elevated, but safely bordered.

Ergonomic scratching post
The scratching post is ergonomically shaped so that cats can grip it from the side – just like on a tree branch in nature. The scratching surface is made of specially manufactured felt. The scratching surface is attached with high-quality fastening clips – if it is worn out, you simply remove it without leaving any residue and attach a new scratching surface.

What years of experience with many cats teach us: cats love felt! When climbing, they find a particularly good grip in it and can sharpen their claws perfectly. This makes playing, romping, and climbing even more attractive – and at the same time protects the claws, because nothing gets caught. We develop and manufacture our felt specifically for use as a scratching surface. Through thermal compaction, it obtains the necessary hardness and thus provides your cat with a secure grip – making it particularly robust and durable.

Heavy base plate for a secure stand
The solid base plate gives the scratching post a secure, tilt-stable stand – even when your cat gains momentum while jumping up or romping wildly. As a pleasant side effect, the metal plate remains cool on hot days and becomes a popular cooling resting place on the floor in summer.

Flexible toy fun
The scratching post has a thread into which all toys from the STYA system can be screwed. This allows the toy to be extended or exchanged at any time. The change takes seconds – ensuring constant variety and preventing boredom. Thus, the scratching post constantly adapts to your cat's preferences and remains interesting for years.

Durable instead of disposable product
As with all STYA products, the wear parts are interchangeable: if the felt scratching surface is worn out, only it is replaced – not the entire scratching post. The pads can also be purchased individually. This way, a supposed disposable product remains a full-fledged piece of furniture that lasts a cat's lifetime.
